【8 December 2024｜Hong Kong】 International MotorXpo Hong Kong (IMXpo) 2024, jointly organised by International Motor Show (HK) Management Limited (IMSHKML), the Hong Kong, China Automobile Association (HKAA), and the Motor Traders Association of Hong Kong (HKMTA), concludes successfully today. Over the course of four days, the expo recorded more than 100,000 visits. This underscores the strong potential and limitless possibilities of the local automotive industry.

The success of IMXpo 2024 not only reinforces its position as the premier automotive expo in the city but also establishes it as a vital platform for industry exchange and the showcasing of innovative technologies. The expo drew numerous automotive enthusiasts from Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, and neighboring countries, providing an exceptional opportunity for those passionate about automotive culture and eager to experience cutting-edge automotive technologies. Additionally, the expo facilitated collaboration and interaction, presenting exhibitors with valuable business opportunities.

Under the theme “Mobility – An Infinite Future”, this year’s IMXpo featured over 100 exhibitors, more than 30 international automotive brands, showcasing over 200 vehicles, including supercars, new energy vehicles, rare classic vehicles, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles. The expo comprised four major thematic zones: International Auto Showroom, New Energy and Future Mobility Pavilion, Hong Kong Autofest, and IMX CARnival, designed to cater to the diverse interests and needs of attendees. To enhance the viewing experience, a series of engaging programs were organized, including the inaugural “Hong Kong JDM Contest”, “Miss IMX” 2024, “Carlsberg 0.0” free tasting, street music performances, multiple themed talks and STEM workshops, allowing attendees to enjoy the festive and automotive atmosphere.

As the global automotive market undergoes changes, the industry faces unprecedented opportunities and challenges.
